Brahmashri Karra Subramanya Sarma was know as Peroori Sarma (1925 - 2000). Famed as an authority on Astrology & Vastu in late 50s in & around Kakinada in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Peroori Sarma's initiation to SAI Path has been nothing short of a legendary fable. His birth in Traditional Brahmin Family made him averse to Saibaba (in the attire of Musalman) & was thinking even that those who worship Saibaba suffers from epilepsy & he was lacking the knowledge that God descends on any form if worships with faith. Even Shri Sarma was expressing his aversion to Saibaba publicly too, resulting in branding him as fallacious. But the year 1957 saw him transformation & on August 12th his elder son Arunikumar was on death bed with meningitis, recovery from which was near impossible. Special Magistrate & friend of Sri Sarma consoled & assured him that SAI will take care of the boy & gave Udi to him. Lo! the boy was recovered.
Sri Peroori Sarma authored Sri Sai Prabha, Sri Shirdi Sainatha Mahatyam, Sri Sainath Sthavana Manjari (in Telugu), Sri Dattatreya Stotram & Sri Gosai Katha (Musical Feature) in between 1958 - 65. His sons now brought out all his literature in one book & though first edition was released some time during last year, new & revised edition was released at Shirdi on 3rd February 2014 at Shirdi.
