Sri Sai Darbar (Addala Mandiram) Nellore

·  Temple was inaugurated on Jun 1, 2005 and 5ft. 4in. tall statue of Sri Sai Baba was installed on the same day by Pujya Sri Darga Swami amidst several Sai devotees chanting Sai Baba Namam. Temple was built on 60ft. X 40ft. area with two levels. Beautiful marble statue of Sri Sai Baba with a very lively face that was brought from Jaipur is placed in the main hall. First floor of the temple has parayana hall with spiritual books. A meditation hall is also present in the first floor. On Jun 27, 2002 the founder of this temple took a small Baba statue that was brought from Shirdi in a palanquin procession from his home and installed in the place where this temple was built.
·  Several activities were being performed on a regular basis like arati, abhishekam, bhajan and parayana. While reading Devotees Experiences written by Sri B.V.Narasimha Swami, they came across the word "Sai Darbar" and decided to name the temple. After seeing the same name on the cover page of Sai Leela Masik that was published by Shirdi Sansthan the next day, they confirmed on the name for temple believing that it was Baba's approval too. Foundation stone for the temple was laid by Sri Darga Swami of Kadapa on May 31, 2004. The construction of the temple was made with 18 pillars and is 10ft. tall. Many devotees have participated in the construction by participating in it personally. Several devotees also participated in Satcharitraparayana before the installation of Baba statue. Another striking feature of this temple is that the committee made sure to match the temple measurement exactly like in Samadhi Mandir, Shirdi. This temple also has Baba statue and replica of Samadhi like in Shirdi. Beneath the replica of Samadhi, they have placed Sai Namam written 6,00,00,000 times by several devotees. The temple also managed to get the flame from dhuni in Shirdi that is lit by Baba himself. They brought that flame to the temple with utmost devotion and care amidst the chanting of Baba Namam. That flame was used that to ignite the dhuni in the temple. Shrine of this temple resembles that of Shirdi temple and it glitters in gold.
·  Very unique feature of this temple is that it is built with mirrors. The temple committee took inspiration of this aspect from the Akhila Bharath Trust temple before Gurucharan in Pimpalwadi Road in Shirdi. They brought in experts from Delhi to take up this critical challenge and finished the task after 6 months of strenuous efforts. This temple is honored to be the first temple made out of mirrors in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Baba looks even more magnificent looking through the mirrors. The temple is built on two levels. Baba statue is placed in the first floor. There is also a statue of Sri Dattatreya, Sankara Bhagavatula statue and Sri Paada Vallabha Swami statue to the right. To the left, there are statues of Sri Manik Prabhuvu, Sri Sai Baba, Sri Akkal Kotkar Maharaj. There is also a small statue of Sai Baba before the big statue to which all the abhishekam and puja is performed. There are pictures that depict Baba leelas in the temple. Near the stairs, there are marble statues of Lord Ganapati to the right and Lord Hanuman on the left. Temple has Tulasi Brindavanam (basil plant) in its premises. Similar to Nanda Deep in Shirdi, the temple has Neem tree and Peepal tree growing together and the temple has installed Sri Dattatreya Swami marble statue there. Dhuni is located at the south east corner from the main entrance.
