UDI BABA SAI MANICKAM

 Masilamani Manickam, more commonly addressed as Udhi Baba Sai Manickam in south India, is known for his abilities in healing many type of sickness, sorting out marriage related issues, solving business problems, getting employment, praying for a child for childless couples, family problems etc. every year, either in April or June. He takes part in Sani swara yagam (yag), pray and bless for the welfare of people.

Every year his trust SHIRDI SAI RAM EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE PUBLIC AND SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST performs sai puja and bhajan   and   he distributes sarees, tailoring machine iron boxes, note books, pens, pencils for the poor and needy. Annadhanam to the poor is also held on this day and many people get his blessings by applying udhi   by him. During the past 25 years of spiritual service he never bothered and looked for name or fame.

Speaking of his early life, Udhi baba belonged to a poor family. He was born to Muthuammal and Masilamani, on 10.6.1954 in Villanallur, a small village in Thiruvannamalai district. He had pursued his education till B.Sc first year, when circumstances forced him to discontinue his course and he joined Government service. Now he has retired as A.I.G CHENNAI from REGISTRATION OFFICE. He is married and has 3 daughters, all of whom are married and well settled in their life. He used to be atheist, and was always honest about it and his beliefs. He never used to believe in god and criticised deities in his early life for no reason. But this was all until the age 35, when a turning point occurred in his life and became spiritual servant to the people and he is now been called udi baba.

 TURNING POINT: One evening at around 5.45 p.m. of a fine Thursday, while he was walking near a mosque in Vellore, he saw SHIRDI SAI BABA coming down from the sky. Baba told him “You have mine as well as all gods’ blessings. One day you’ll be renowned among the people.” But he ignored this and kept on walking ahead. Baba used to bless him between a mosque and a temple and this repeated for 3 continuous days at the same time. Even then he was not serious because he had not believed in god. But on a following Saturday early morning, he dreamt of standing in Tirupathi Balaji temple near lord Balaji, where instead of Balaji he saw Baba. This got him thinking. He started to change, dropped his old habits, associations, desires, and everything (including family). He started afresh with the blessings of Lord Shirdi Sai Baba. He embarked on a new mission as spiritual ‘SERVANT” of Baba. Now it is only as a duty that he looks at his family.

 He is a blessed man because everything connected to god i.e. puja dhyanam(meditation)/ prayer’s dos and don’ts are preached by lord Shirdi Sai baba himself and HE is his parama guru. He has visited shirdi countless times to get himself involved with HIM (Baba). Now baba is in his heart. He talks, plays sharing happiness and sorrows, prayers, everything with baba daily. Individual’s prayers are also kept in at Shirdi Baba’s feet, and Udhi baba prays vigorously to fulfil them. YES GOD DISPOSES THEM He never does any work without lord BABA”s permission. He has no personal wish and will. Now udhi baba, on Shirdi baba’s wish has decided to start prayer in other places of India.  It is to be noted that he applied udi for more than 1 lakh people to heal Cancer patients, kidney patients ulcer problems, heart problems and many childless couples blessed with child after his blessing in his 25 years of his service.
