కుమార్తె వివాహం జరిపించిన బడే మియా!!

Bade Miya could not sleep a wink that night. His mind kept paying the scene that took place in the Dwarika Mayee over & over again. His daughter too was of a marriageable age, and would soon be getting married. Bade Miya needed about a thousand rupees to celebrate the wedding. He was a poor man & he wondered if Baba would help him, as he had helped the Patil. He decided to go to Shirdi the very next day. Early in the morning he went to the Dwarika Mai & prostrated before Baba & placed a rupees at His Feet. Then Bade Miya told Baba that he wanted to get his daughter married & needed a thousand rupees to cover the expenses. Then Baba said, “Is is this right?” Then Baba put His hand into the pocket of His Kafni & took out a fistful of coins. Then Baba asked Bade Miya to receive them in the fold of his dhoti. Bade Miya heart the jangle of coins. Then Baba said, “Now go home & count them.” As soon as Bade Miya reached home, he put all the coins on the floor & counted them. There were sixty eight copper coins; at first he thought it was a joke. Immediately Bade Miya returned to Shirdi & went to the Dwaraka Mai. Bade Miya confronted Baba saying, “The Patil was a rich man so he gave you three rupees. But I am a poor man, who came all the way from Marathwada, and I needed only a thousand rupees for my daughter’s wedding, but I got only sixty eight paisa after giving you one rupee. You made me fun of my poverty, Baba.” Hearing this Baba laughed merrily & said, “As soon as you kept a rupee, I knew that you expected to get a thousand rupees.” Then Bade Miya told Him that his daughter going to be married soon. Then Baba reassured him saying, “Arre, your daughter is going to get married next year. Why are worrying already? When the marriage is fixed I will see that you get the money.” Bade Miya went home & because of Baba’s blessings the harvest that he collected that year was four to five times the usual yield. Bade Miya celebrated his daughter’s wedding on a grand scale from the increased earnings without having to beg or borrow from anyone. The Almighty knows what to give, when to give, why to give & how to give. And according to His will everything happens. (Ref: Sai Sagar Magazine; 2009; Deepavali issue) A Divine Journey with Baba – compiled by Vinny Chitluri, Sterlings.. కుమార్తె వివాహం జరిపించిన బడే మియా!! బడే మియా కి ఆ రాత్రంతా నిద్ర పట్టలేదు. ద్వారకా మాయిలో జరిగిన సంఘటన ఆయనకి మరీ మరీ గుర్తుకు వస్తూంది. తన కూతురు కూడా పెళ్ళికెదిగివుంది. త్వరలో వివాహం జరిపించాలి. అందుకోసం బడేమియాకి కనీసం వెయిరూపాయలవుసరం. బడేమియా పేదవాడు, పాటిల్ కి సాయ పడినట్లుగానే బాబా తనకి కూడా సాయపడతారేమొ అనుకున్నాడు. ఆ మరునాడే షిరిడీకి పోవాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాడు. తెల్లవారుతూనే బాబా దర్శనానికి ద్వారకామాయికి చేరుకున్నాడు. బాబాకి సాష్టాంగపడ్డాడు, బాబా పాదాలచెంత ఒక రూపాయని వుంచాడు. తన కూతురు పెళ్లీడుకొచ్చిందనీ, పెళ్లి చేయాలనీ అందుకు ఖర్చులనిమిత్తం వెయ్యి రూపాయలవుసరమనీ బాబాకి విన్నవించుకున్నాడు. అప్పుడు బాబా తన కఫ్నీ జేబులో చేయిపెట్టి దోసిడికందినన్ని నాణేలని తీసారు. బడేమియా కండువాని పట్టమని అందులో ఆ నాణేలన్నీ పోసారు బాబా. కండువాలో పోస్తున్నప్పుడునాణేల గలగలలు బడేమియా విన్నాడు. ’ఇప్పటికి ఇంటికి వెళ్ళు, వెళ్లి ఆ నాణేలను లెక్కపెట్టుకో’ అని బడేమియాని బాబా ఆదేశించారు. ఇంటికి చేరుకున్న వెంటనే బడేమియా ఆ నాణేలని ఆతృతతో లెక్కపెట్టాడు. మొత్తం అరవైఎనిమిది నాణేలున్నాయి. బాబా తనతో హాస్యమాడారని బడేమియా మొదట అనుకున్నాడు. వెంటనే బడేమియా షిరిడీకి తిరిగి పరిగెట్టాడు. ద్వారకామాయికి వెళ్ళి బాబాతో వాదించడం ప్రారంభించాడు. “పాటిల్ గొప్పవాడు, అందుచేత నీకు మూడురూపాయలు దక్షిణివ్వగలిగాడు, నేను బీదవాడిని, ఎంతో దూరమైన మరఠ్వాఢా నుండి నీకోసం వచ్చాను, నాకు కేవలం వెయ్యి రూపాయలు మాత్రమే, అదీ నాకూతురు పెళ్ళి ఖర్చుల కోసం కావాలి, కానీ నీకు ఒక రూఫాయ దక్షిణ సమర్పించుకున్నతర్వాత నాకు నీనుండి దొరికింది అరవై ఎనిమిది పైసలు. నా దారిద్ర్యాన్ని నువ్వు అపహాస్యం చేసావు బాబా” అని నిందించాడు. “నువ్వు నా పాదల చెంత ఒక్కరుపాయ దక్షిణ పెట్టిన వెంటనే నువ్వు నానుండి వెయ్యిరూపాయలను ఆశిస్తున్నావని నేను గ్రహించానులే’ నవ్వుతూ అన్నారు బాబా. అప్పుడు బడేమియా తనకూతురికి నిజంగానే త్వరలో వివాహం కాబోతూవుందన్నాడు. “అర్రే! బడేమియా! నీ కూతురి పెళ్ళి వచ్చే సంవత్సరం జరుగబోతూవుంది. ఇప్పటినుండీ కంగారుపడతావెందుకు? పెళ్ళి నిశ్చయమైన వెంటనే, నీకు అవుసరమైన ధనాన్ని నేను సమకూరుస్తానుగా” అని మాటిచ్చారు. బడేమియా ఇంటికి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు. బాబా ఆశీస్సుల వలన ఆ సంవత్సరం పంట ఎప్పటికన్నా నాలుగయిదు రెట్లు అధికంగా దిగుబడినిచ్చింది. ఆ విధంగా లభించిన ధనంతో ఎవరి దగ్గరా చేయిచాచనవుసరం లేకుండా, ఎవరి దగ్గరా అప్పుచేయనవుసరం లేకుండా, తన కుమార్తె వివాహం ఘనంగా జరిపించాడు. ఏమిటి, ఎప్పుడు, ఎందుకు, ఎలా ఇవ్వాలో భగవంతుడికి తెలుసు, భగవంతుని ఇష్టాన్ననుసరించే అన్నీ జరుగుతాయి. సుఖశాంతులు ప్రసాదించే షిర్డీ సాయి......

భగవంతుని పట్ల మనం ఎంత ఆరాధనాభావంతో ఉండాలో, వినయవిధేయతలు చూపాలో షిర్డీ సాయిబాబా స్వయంగా ఆచరించి చూపారు. దేవునికి వినమ్రంగా చేతులు జోడించాలని, మనల్ని మనం అర్పించుకోవాలని చెప్పేవారు బాబా.

సాయిబాబా అపూర్వ శక్తిసంపన్నుడు అయ్యుండీ తాను దైవాన్ని అని ఎన్నడూ చెప్పుకోలేదు. దేవుడు తనకు అప్పగించిన కార్యాలను నిర్వహించడానికి వచ్చానని చెప్పేవారు. భగవంతుని పట్ల అంతులేని ప్రేమను, వినయాన్ని ప్రకటించేవారు. సృష్టిలో దైవాన్ని మించింది ఇంకేదీ లేదని నిగర్వంగా చెప్పేవారు.

ఒక సందర్భంలో సాయిబాబా "నేను బానిసల్లో బానిసని. నీకు ఎంతగానో రుణపడి ఉన్నాను. నీ అపురూపమైన దర్శనంతో ఎనలేని ఆనందం కలుగుతోంది. సంతృప్తి చెందుతున్నాను. నీ పాదసేవ చేసుకోవడం నా అదృష్టం. ఈ భాగ్యాన్ని నాకు ఎన్నడూ దూరం చేయకు..." అన్నారు.

సాయిబాబా తన నడవడినే మనకు ఆదర్శంగా చేసి చూపారు. మనం ఆయన్ను అనుసరించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తే సరిపోతుంది. ఒక్కరోజులో సర్వం వంటబట్టకున్నా క్రమక్రమంగా ఒక్కో లక్షణాన్నీ అలవరచుకోవచ్చు.

భగవంతునికి లేని సంపదలు అంటూ లేవు. ఆయన జ్ఞానానికి, కీర్తికి ఆకాశమే కొలమానం. దేవుడు మహా మహిమాన్వితుడు. భగవంతునికి ఏ ఒక్కరిమీదా ప్రత్యేకమైన ప్రేమాభిమానాలు ఉండవు. కానీ అందరిమీదా ఔదార్యం చూపిస్తాడు.

మనం ఈ లోకలో అడుగుపెట్టింది జలసాలు, విలాసాలతో కాలక్షేపం చేస్తూ, సమయాన్ని వ్యర్ధం చేసుకోడానిక్కాదు. భగవన్నామస్మరణతో కాలాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలి. భక్తులు, భగవంతుని చేరుకునే మార్గం సులభమైందేమీ కాదు. అది కొంచెం కష్టంతో కూడుకున్నదే. అభ్యాసంతో తేలికౌతుంది. సద్గురువు చేయి పట్టుకు నడిస్తే మరింత సులభసాధ్యమౌతుంది.

సాయిబాబా తనను దైవంగా చెప్పుకోక గురువుగా భావించమని మాత్రమే అనేవారు. బాబా సద్గురువు మాత్రమే కాదు, భగవంతుడేనని ఆయనతో కలిసి జీవించిన చాలామంది విశ్వసించారు. బాబా లీలలు మనలో చాలామందికి అనుభవమౌతున్నాయి.

సాయిబాబా చూపిన వినమ్రత, దయ, కరుణ, ఔదార్యం మొదలైన అద్భుత గుణాలను మనమూ అలవరచుకుందాం. వ్యర్థ విషయాలతో కాలాన్ని హరింపచేయకుండా, సాయి భగవాన్ నామస్మరణతో సద్వినియోగం చేసుకుందాం. జీవితాన్ని సార్ధకం చేసుకుందాం. సాయి నామం సుఖశాంతులనిస్తుంది.

BABA’S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR HIS DEVOTEES

In the month of December 1916 Vamanrao suffered from severe anoxeria. Thus he was unable to eat anything, and had lost a lot of weight. Vamanrao had gone home to recuperate. One morning around 9 am., a fakir appeared at his door & asked him, “Are you Vamanrao LLB?” Vamanrao asked him why he wanted to know, and how he could help him. The fakir replied, “Sai Baba gave me one rupee and asked to go to various Darghas & pray for the health & well being of Vamanrao LLB.”

Vamanrao was overwhelmed by what the fakir said. He thought, “Baba has so much of loving compassion for His devotees. I am so far away from Shirdi and except for Baba and this fakir no one else knows that I anorexia. The act epitomises the unconditional compassion of my Sadguru. The Sadguru does not bother whether His devotee is worthy or unworthy, of His Grace. Baba did not take my merits and virtues into account, because if He did I would have been unworthy of His Grace, as He is ‘all-knowing’. However, Baba did not consider my unworthiness and like a loving parent asked the fakir to pray for my health. How will I ever be able to repay Him? If anyone thinks that Baba did all this because I give Him a lot of Dakshina, they are sadly mistaken. There are numerous devotees who gave Baba ten times or even a hundred times more Dakshina than I did.

Once Vamanrao Narvekar was running a high temperature, his son then gave Baba five hundred rupees as Dakshina. And as soon as Baba accepted the money he started rigors & high fever, and Narvekar was cured. Like Narvekar there are numerous affluent devotees, and alongside them what is my worth? Yet without considering this Baba showered His compassionate love on me. The merciful Baba did this immeasurable favour that I will never ever be able to repay. Baba has bestowed innumerable favours on me & if I start counting them, then I will have to count till the end of time.

Our Sadguru, Sai Baba is Parabrahma, He is all pervading, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipresent. Nothing in this cosmos escapes his knowledge.
